Chapter 1 Submission and Publication
- Researchers wishing to submit to PEACES shall prepare their manuscript in accordance with the manuscript preparation guidelines and send it to the Editorial Board (peaces@kangwon.ac.kr).

Two copies shall be submitted: one for the Editorial Board bearing the author's identifying details, and one anonymised copy for review.
The copy for the Editorial Board shall give the affiliation, position and email address of each author. The copy for review must contain no information by which the author can be identified.
- Submitted articles undergo review by three anonymous reviewers, and the Editorial Board notifies the author of the outcome.
- The author shall attach to the manuscript a research ethics pledge and a KCI similarity check report.
Chapter 2 Length and Structure of Articles

The total length of a manuscript, including footnotes, references, tables and figures, shall be approximately 150 pages of 200-character manuscript paper and shall not exceed 180 pages.
- A comparative book review or critical essay in article form shall be approximately 120 pages of 200-character manuscript paper.
- A report on an academic conference or a piece in interview form shall be approximately 80 pages.

An article comprises a Korean abstract, an English abstract, the main text, footnotes, and references.
- The Korean abstract, including the title, the name(s) of the author(s) and five keywords, shall not exceed three pages of 200-character manuscript paper.
- The English abstract, including the English title, the author's name(s) in English and five keywords, shall not exceed 200 words.
Chapter 3 Manuscript Preparation Guidelines
- Manuscripts shall as a rule be written in Korean, using Hangul (HWP) or Word.
- Chapters, sections, subsections and items shall be numbered in the order I, 1, 1), (1).
- Footnotes shall be used only where strictly necessary and kept as brief as possible, following the footnote guidelines below.
- Tables and figures shall be numbered consecutively in the form 〈Table 1〉, 〈Figure 1〉 and their sources given. Sources shall be given in full footnote form.
- In the main text, short quotations shall be enclosed in 〈" "〉 and long quotations set as an indented block; emphasis shall be marked with 〈' '〉.
- Personal names, book titles and article titles in footnotes shall be given in the original language where they are in a foreign language or in Chinese characters.
In-text Citations
- Sources shall be cited in abbreviated form in parentheses in the main text and footnotes, with full details given in the 〈References〉.
- An in-text citation shall give, in parentheses, the name(s) of the author(s), the year of publication and, where necessary, page numbers.
- Expressions such as "ibid.", "op. cit." or their Korean equivalents shall not be used when a work is cited again.

References
- Only works cited in the main text or footnotes shall be listed in the references.
- References shall be arranged in the order of Korean-language works, works in Roman script, works in other languages (Japanese, Chinese and so on), and other materials, and within each group in alphabetical order by author's name.
- Several works by the same author shall be arranged by year; where two or more were published in the same year, a, b, c shall be appended to the year in the order in which they are cited.
